At Parenting Connection WA (PCWA) we believe that all parents and caregivers, regardless of background, situation or location, should have access to the knowledge, skills and networks to nurture the wellbeing and development of their children.
Raising children is like building a house. The more knowledge parents and caregivers have, the stronger the foundations they can build for their children. While much of a child’s brain infrastructure is built in the first three years of life, many social, emotional, cognitive and executive functions continue to develop in the middle and teen years. We can assist in navigating parenting through all the ages and stages of a child’s life.
Our services are evidence-based and aim to educate and empower parents and caregivers. These may be one off workshops, or longer courses run over several weeks. Some sessions may be in groups, while others may be one-on-one individual consultations.
We listen… tell us what you need!
We understand that parents and caregivers have unique needs. Parents know firsthand what support and services is needed. That’s why we encourage feedback and suggestions for our parenting sessions via our contact us form.
