Parenting Connection WA (PCWA) is a new approach supporting all parents and caregivers with children from birth to 18 years with the provision of locally relevant, free and inclusive workshops, groups, one-on-one consultations and information.
We understand that healthy child development and positive parenting are interconnected, and that all parents and caregivers need support to gain the knowledge, skills, confidence and networks to nurture the wellbeing and development of their children.
We run universal and targeted services in local regions across Western Australia that connect and support parents, caregivers and their children. We have a particular focus on working with local communities to identify particular specific parenting needs and ensure services are the right fit for that community.
We also aim to make universal parenting services accessible to all to improve outcomes for families and children from all backgrounds. We aim to connect with those who may have barriers to participation, including Aboriginal families, culturally and linguistically diverse families, fathers and male caregivers, and; young parents or caregivers.
