Tuning Into Kids (online)
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until 8 September, 2022
A free six-session parenting program for parents and carers of young children
Would you like to learn how to:
• Communicate with your child more effectively?
• Understand your child’s needs?
• Help your child learn how to manage those difficult emotions?
• Prevent behavioural problems in your child?
• Help your child to problem solve and develop resilience?
Tuning into kids shows you how to help your child develop emotional intelligence.
Children with higher emotional intelligence:
• Have greater success with making and keeping friends
• Have better concentration at school
• Are more able to calm down when upset or angry
• Tend to have fewer childhood illnesses
Emotional intelligence may be a better predictor of academic and career success than IQ.
