Kindy & School Readiness Series: Lunch Box & Routines (Carnarvon)

Starting kinder or ‘big’ school is a huge deal not only for children, but also for parents or caregivers as it may be the first time packing a lunch box.
A good lunch gives children energy and nutrients to learn, play and grow, and sets them up with lifelong healthy eating habits. So it’s really important to pack a healthy lunch box for your child. Participants develop a greater understanding of:
- Creating family routines
- Understanding school breaks
- The Five Food groups
- Budgeting for lunches
- Hands on experience, pack a lunch together
Each child will take home their own lunch box & drink bottle.
Free to attend, just show up!
