An event every week that begins at 11:00 am on Wednesday, repeating until 2 November, 2022
Food Sensations for Children’ (FSC) is a community healthy eating and cooking program designed to provide parents and carers of children 0 – 5 years, with the tools to create a positive eating experience for the whole family.
The following topics will be covered:
- Week 1 – Healthy eating for the whole family, introduction to solids, types and textures of food for each development stage.
- Week 2 – Helpful tools and tips to make mealtimes less stressful and tackle picky eating.
- Week 3 – How to read food labels, prepare lunchboxes and keep food safe.
- Week 4 – How to plan and feed the family on a budget.
Each week parents/carers will receive various resources including a recipe to try.
Sessions will run on Wednesday from 11 – 12:30 pm, via video conference at Ravensthorpe CRC, starting 12th October.
